Phil Braggar was born in New York, USA, in 1925, and a few years into his life he made the irrevocable decision to become an artist. As a result of human curiosity and destiny he arrived in Mexico City in 1954, where he studied at the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado La Esmeralda (National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving La Esmeralda).
